Description & Winemaker's Notes
| Price: | $ |
Beaulieu Vineyard states: this wine has an aroma of black currant fruit and dark cocoa enhanced by a hint of opulent new oak vanilla. This ruby black, nearly opaque wine is rich and fleshy, with moderately full tannins and a strong ripe finish. This should age well for at least a decade, but is quite dense and delicious now. This wine should go well with grilled or roast lamb, beef soup, roast duck or cheeses like Pecorino or Cheddar.

Good nose typical of California Cabs. Not the best tasting cab by any means. Seemed a little heavy on the alcohol with a bitter finish. Much better Cabs in this price range.
